Manchester is a city in Greater Manchester, England. Manchester was granted it’s city status in 1853. It has a population of more than 452,000 and lies at the center of the wider Greater Manchester Urban Area, which has a population of 2,240,230, and the United Kingdom’s 3rd largest conurbation. Manchester has the 2nd largest urban zone in the United Kingdom and the 14th most populated in Europe. Recently Manchester has been regarded by the international press, the British public, and government ministers as being the 2nd city of the United Kingdom.

Manchester is not just famous for it’s rich culture and beauteous landmark but also known for it’s delicious food. If you’re looking for an Indian or Chinese restaurant you should be heading for Manchester’s Chinatown or to the Rusholme. The latter is located at the end of Oxford Road, a 5 minute taxi ride from Manchester city center, and it’s home to over 30 Indian restaurants and take-aways. Manchester’s Chinatown, located in the City Center has an impressive 15 eateries as well as 3 supermarkets. Such a small place compare to Rusholme but jam packed with hungry customers who wants to feed their appetite.
